Still have a room for improvement but have no rivals in so many ways of use
The greatest!
Great collaboration tool that allows up to eight users to share ideas in real time. It also offers some basic text formatting. Much faster that Google Docs.
Very cool web app, hope Google Wave is going to be something like this, only better!
A very efficient way to collaborate on javascript or text. Lack a bit of security : no password feature and hacking is not so difficult.
I would appreciate a personal "domain" to store and share work without this awful urls : http://etherpad.com/myId/myDoc... Miss also html and css edition.
However, at this price this tool is a killer...
Easy access to quick, reliable online collaboration. Low profile interface, good functionality. Send yourself a reminder of page and have a simple online txt page available.
Neat idea.
Collaborative document editing is not new but this webapp distances itself by adding features for coders like fixed width font, line numbers, revisions and syntax highlighting (currently only javascript).
More languages for syntax highlighting and a "mark line" feature would be nice but it's a good start as is.
