i like stuff ... especially being in sync at home, work and at play. have i said 'i like stuff'
I think Evernote is good. It's got so many features that I'm finding it hard to scratch the surface of what it's got going on. So far, I've found it most useful for sharing research images and text with other people via the online notebook sharing facility.
The iPhone version of the app is great as you can sync to your desktop. Since they introduced the ability to store notes locally on your phone it's got even better because you don't have to be within a signal area to work on your notes.
I was a bit suspicious at first, but after trying it for a while I am sold.
Just the OCR feature alone is enough to make this awesome, pair that with a bucketful of other nifty features and you've got a winner.
This has become one of my favorite and most indispensable productivity tools. The desktop client is incredibly easy to use. It automatically saves and syncs notes across all platforms including a great mobile app on the iPhone.
Your data is stored in the cloud with accessibility from almost every platform you can think of (iPhone, Windows, OSX, Web). Many varied uses for Evernote include maintaining to-do lists, clipping articles to read later, and storing snippets of things that you think will benefit you later.
On the Windows client, the interface seems a bit off, and you need to do a lot of extra clicking to format your notes, but with the pending alpha version, SOME of the problems have been relieved. The iPhone interface, however, is great.
It really is an external brain.
I believe that this is not only a great application on mac/windows, but I believe that this is a great company/team of programmers because they have managed to not only make versions for mac and windows, but have also ported it to the iPod touch/ iPhone platform, which allows you to take your notes with you, as well as sync over the air, so that you have your notes wherever you go, and it will update, wherever you are, mac, pc, ipod etc. Really stunning program, I just wish I could pay for the premium version, that has no ads in the bottom left hand corner and allows you to upload bigger file sizes in your notes / more formats than just images (png, jpg, etc.) and text.
Great piece of software.
pretty much the most useful app, ever. seriously its REALLY good.
i really can not think of how i managed to be organized before this application was written.
Evernote is the best personal information manager i ever use on every device i have.
I love this program. I started using it on my iPhone, but now I use the desktop client probably more. It has saved my bacon may times now. I can reach my "notes" even if I don't have access to my iPhone, laptop, or PC. Just login to the site and BAM, your notes are there. I keep everything from scriplets to audio notes I take on the road.
Every POWER USER should have this program!
Excellent software. It is buggy at times.
Evernote is one of those services that truly gets the need for cross-platform software. Works great on Windows 7 and my iPhone. Only drawbacks is it's still sometimes a bit buggy and slow to sync.
hate banner ... how remove it ?
Very usefull application for keeping your notes and research data organized. Windows Mobile app is great as well.
