ExplorerXP is a very fast, small, compact and innovative FREEWARE (for non - commercial use) file manager for Windows 2000/XP. Unlike the regular Windows Explorer, it displays the total size of each folder and allows you to browse multiple folders from a tabbed interface.

Excellent Windows Explorer alternative. Supports tabs for multiple folders open within the same window. Also displays the size of folders, a very useful feature that should have been included in Windows Explorer. Copying/Moving files within the program automatically uses Explorer's default copy utilty. I have not been able to get Teracopy to work with ExplorerXP, making any benefits to this program greatly reduced. I have found that it can be faster in some instances but also crashes more often. A decent alternative and useful at times but has not been able to replace Windows Explorer.

Doesn't look that great and I don't find this improving my experience. I prefer Windows Explorer.
This is what MS File Manager should have been all about. Too bad there has not any changes in two years, but then again, this is near perfect. Way to go...
I like it as a portable app only for the folder size feature.
Free! Tabs are nice. Hard to move files.
