Espresso is really fabulous. I first used it as part of a SANS course, and have kept coming back to it ever since.
Its a very efficient tool for generating regular expression and checking regular expression.
I find this tool has a good balance of features vs. complexity when compared to other regular expression development tools. It's been near perfect in my latest project which has a fairly substantial amount of regular expressions to parse and validate certain emails and it would have taken much longer to develop them if I was just writing and testing in the Visual Studio IDE
