Float the EyeTV window on top of other applications and keep an eye on your show while you work or surf the Web. Or, go “Full Screen”, stretch out on the couch, and channel surf with an EyeTV or Apple Remote.

It's the DVR for my iPod and iPhone.
EyeTV is a superb application for watching, recording, editing and exporting television on your Mac. You can watch TV and uses a FrontRow style interface when viewing full screen for changing channels, volume and so on. You can impulse record or schedule recordings. One nice aspect which in my mind makes this a key application is you can edit your recordings, crop and remove the adverts or news broadcasts. You can then export for multiple formats including iPod, PSP and others. Combined with Roxio's Toast you can easily burn your recordings to DVD. Well recommended.
