facedesk is better
Love the pop up notifications and the fact that I can have Facebook in the background OUT OF my browser. I use it along with Pidgin (chat) - both in the background - this saves me trawling through Facebook unnecessarily - I've got the essentials - and I'm a notification fan ! So 10/10 for that - it's discreet and lets you know what's happening LIVE !
It was nice to be able to easily read updates, but didn't have an option to get older posts. I uninstalled.
I have been looking for a program like this for a while, and have just finally found it. A load of problems though and will not use again.
Font is awful, no option to minimize and run in systray, which is what I would love, and to be able to enable notifications to popup.
lmao! It's dire! I'm surprised it's as poor as this. Use Facedesk instead (awful name, I know)...
only is good its price/value field because it's free...
A little too basic for me to use all the time.
Absolutely horrible. Rendering problems, terrible font and appearance, slow, and lacking functionality. Spare yourself.
This is a pretty basic app for facebook. Hopefully the 3rd party desktop apps are a lot more full featured.
