The new interface is fantastic compared to the old one. There are still many
groups on Facebook where thousands of people want the old facebook back.
Here's why the new facebook is better. Go and look at someone's profile on
the old facebook, and when you only want to know information about them and who
they are, their education etc, you also get all the poorly written third party
apps appearing on their page. When a user has many of these, your CPU usage can
soar while your computer loads it all. I have a quad core 3.2Ghz and it strained
under the pressure of loading so many apps on one person's profile.
Now take a look at the NEW facebook. You go on someone's profile and you can
see all the information you need and want to know about them, and check your CPU
usage. It's infinately lower! This is because you don't have to view many of
their crappy third party poorly written applications unless you choose the
application tab.
Facebook is a great social networking tool. Long live the new FB!
