This is fast but it doesn't cover as much software as some of the other
update applications. For the ones it does cover though, there's nothing better.
It's simple and easy to use and gets the job done.
This is the first update checker I use because it has direct download links
as 9091 said. The other checker I use you have to click about 4 links before you
get the download which is a real pain.
Filehippo is a quality site too, just needs to expand its database.
Really needs some work to the interface and check speed. Seems to just sit on
the systray and *waits* for something. Be nicer if the program would run by
schedule once a month or week. but not sit in the systray, day-in and
day-out.

Except for the fact that I think the main interface looks bad, it works great. I was completely thrown off by how well and fast it worked. Kudos!
Best update checker I have used. It usually always gets the version right and allows one to quickly download the necessary update.
Absolutely Awesome.. The Best Update Checker Period!
I love it; it's a great tool to run every now and then to keep everything nice and up to date.

Just great =)

On the one hand - I like direct download links; on the other hand - small database :/
A very useful and neat program.
Installer file for FileHippo Update Checker, updatechecker.exe.
Awesome.
No Hassle, very handy!
Very nice, reminds me of various package manager from Linux.
I didn't know something like this existed for Windows until I saw it on Wakoopa.
