Unfortunately I don't film edit as a pro so FC Pro is a bit much for a hobby. FC Express is all
a consumer would need to edit vacation and family films or community theater etc.. The interface is the only problem. I think this is because you don't even get an instruction manual
explaining the most simple of features. Apple rarely does. Using the "help" option is good but always seems to be in the way of the projects view. "Live type" by itself is worth the price of it all. The interface on this is great and intuitive. Complex apps should come with written basic instructions. Online is a big hassle without dual monitors.
It's ok, but I've been using Sony Vegas for years now it's hard to get used to FCE
Very Good. The best out there. Saving for Final Cut Studio.
Great software, I've moved on to Final Cut Studio for full production though. For regular digital video, Express is perfect. Highly recommended for regular digital video. For broadcast or pro work (I do conventions), you'll want to upgrade to Final Cut Studio.
Awesome video editor at a great price - takes a little to get used to though!
cool!
