Finder is a decent, intuitive program for file management. While providing
the same capabilities as Windows' Explorer through a simplified interface, it
pales in comparison to Path Finder. Though Path Finder may not be necessary for
many users, Apple would do well to borrow some of its features.
I think the finder is great.

I agree that It might not seem that impressing. But its whats underneeth
it thats really cool. It the best with orgenizing tour files and keeping your
harddrive in good shape. fidning and searching files in finder takes less then a
second when the same computer running windows explorer would take a few min to
do the same task
if it were any less useable, they'd ship it as screen shots on paper that
you'd keep taped to the side of your monitor, or let sit inbetween the lid and
the keyboard of your computer...
Does what it's supposed to do. Has it's quirks and could use a revamp. They
should at least ditch the default ugly brushed metal interface. Pretty nice
overall.

How is it possible to use the Finder less than Safari? It is always running. This Wakoopa tracker is not too bright!

It's OK and would get the job done all right, but for a switcher i miss the "refresh" button.

A bit of a joke really. Old fashioned and a pain to use. I prefer Path Finder or Windows Explorer. Quicksilver is another alternative on the Mac.
Not that great - learn Quicksilver to stay out of the finder.. Hopefully seriously updated for Leopard/10.5
Uh...well, it's a lot better than Windows Explorer. I don't know much else I could say.
