To display web pages, Firefox uses the Gecko layout engine, which implements some current web standards plus a few features which are intended to anticipate likely additions to the standards.
Firefox includes tabbed browsing, a spell checker, incremental find, live bookmarking, a download manager, and an integrated search system that uses the user's desired search engine. Firefox runs on various versions of Microsoft Windows (version 3.5 supports Windows Vista and XP; although not officially supported, Firefox is compatible with Windows 7 RTM), Mac OS X (10.4 or later officially supported), most Linux distributions, and many other Unix-like operating systems. Its current stable release branch is version 3.5, first released on June 30th, 2009. Firefox's source code is free software, released under a tri-license of GPL/LGPL/MPL.

This APP Makes me Happy!!!
This is my favorite full-featured browser. I really like the add-ons and the dev features. It's gotten a bit bloated and slow lately, so Chrome feels zippier, but it is still my main browser.

Yep, Firefox is one of the most used web browsers. Has lack of some features (but they can be added as extensions), sometimes it is a RAM-eater but still nice. Has a VERY customizable interface and its FREE!
