The most popular browser on Windows
… More EditMozilla Firefox is a free and open source web browser descended from the Mozilla Application Suite, managed by the Mozilla Corporation. Firefox had 24.07% of the recorded usage share of web browsers as of October 2009, making it the second-most popular browser worldwide, after Internet Explorer, which is the factory default browser on all Windows computers.
In 5 months, Firefox has gathered steam and now owns more than 25% of usage share of web browsers closing the gap between it and IE.
To display web pages, Firefox uses the Gecko layout engine, which implements some current web standards plus a few features which are intended to anticipate likely additions to the standards.
Firefox includes tabbed browsing, a spell checker, incremental find, live bookmarking, a download manager, and an integrated search system that uses the user's desired search engine. Functions can be added through add-ons created by third-party developers, the most popular of which include Adblock Plus, Video DownloadHelper, NoScript, Personas, FlashGot, and Greasemonkey, along with many others.
Firefox runs on various versions of Microsoft Windows (version 3.5 supports Windows Vista and XP; although not officially supported as of November 2009, Firefox is compatible with Windows 7), Mac OS X (10.4 or later officially supported), most Linux distributions, and many other Unix-like operating systems.
Its current stable release branch is version 3.6, first released mid-January, 2010. Firefox's source code is free software, released under a tri-license of GPL/LGPL/MPL.

Firefox better watch out, Chrome is quickly gaining ground. Still my preferred browser is Firefox.
The best browser I ever used. Maybe a little slowly than Chrome, but it's realy nice!
Tool #1 for any Web Developer. Add him some extension and you're in business =)
The Most Secure, Easy To Use, Friendly Browser
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
From a personal experience, FF is better than most other competent browsers due to mainly its compatibility to most websites and internet services that use macromedia flash which require special add-ons. It is very convenient to use while doing online examinations at University. These require authorware players which are not available fro Chrome.
best...but needs improvement in matters of speed
Best browser ever.
Best browser!
The best
Best browser by miles, i don't care what you say about other browsers.
Great browser mostly because of the plugins you can add, in my case web-dev related add-ons.
It's bad though it gets slow after a year or so of usage...

Nice
needs to improve the speed performance
Firefox is great don't get me wrong, except I'm more leaning towards Safari due to more standards support.
