FL Studio (formerly Fruity Loops) is a digital audio workstation, developed by Didier Dambrin (also known as 'Gol'), lead programmer of Image-Line Software. Music is created by recording and mixing audio and/or MIDI data together to create a song, which can then be saved to the program's native .FLP (Fruity Loops Project) format. It may not be as good as Reason, but it's definitely up there on the list. Much easier to use and figure out, so many Tutorials around the web. Now anyone can produce professionally sounding tracks from home. Compatible with a wide range of MIDI input devices. I've been using this since FL 5 and i've never left it since.

An awesome music production tools for both amateur or proffessional musician. Loaded with tons of philters, synths, equalizers and other power toys and with the possibilities of letting you sequence as you prefer, either it is by steps or using a piano like sequencer; FL Studio is a dream for those who carry music in their genes :D
