One of the best IDE's out there. Packed with autocompletion, clean ui, project-manager in short terms; GOOD!

No useless feature :) Would be great if they can add more languages like PHP/Python/Ruby.

To be honest, FlashDevelop might be the only reason why I still use Windows. I've written tens of thousands of lines of code using it, and so far it hasn't let me down. I do a lot a Flash work professionally, and most of it is dynamic so everything has to be done dynamically using ActionScript 3. The Adobe Flash IDE is terrible, and I've never been a big fan of FLEX Builder. The only time I might use Adobe Flash now is if I need some timeline animations. For anything dynamic/interactive, it's all about FlashDevelop.

Great program to write not only actionscript (with Intellisense, which Flash IDE hardly supports), but also Javascript, HTML, Python and a lot others. And it's for free, isn't it fantastic?!

Great actionscript developing tool I've used so far. Easy to use and extremely good user friendly. Even better in Html and CSS coding, I think.

Great Flash developing tool, even better then Eclipse. It's much easier to set up, it has got a very intelligent Intellisense build in (works even with imported custom classes!), much better then the one build in Flash CS4. The part is: it's free! You can start making your flash applications (animations is a bit harder without the Flash IDE) in combination with the free Flex SDK. GREAT!

Great Code Editor, Expecially for Flash Development. The only thing that i don't like, is that it only works with Windows.

I love FlashDevelop, it has superiour code completion and error handling, and works great in combination with Flash CS3 or the Flex 3 SDK. I can't imagine people code in the Flash SDK, or even SEPY. It's the best free (!) Actionscript editor I know and saved me a lot of headaches.
