I've been using Fluid to create site-specific browsers for some of my most
frequently trafficked sites. It helps cut down on the number of tabs I have open
in Firefox at any given time, and is still able to use many scripts found at
userscripts.org
I find it especially useful for Twitter, a Ning network that I maintain,
Facebook and Tumblr.
