FLV Extract can extract video and audio streams from FLV files without decompressing or recompressing. The video stream is saved into AVI-format and the audio is saved to MP3-format. Currently H.263/FLV1 and VP6/FLV4 are supported. Inorder to view the saved AVI-files, you need to hae the right decoders installed. We recommend that you try the latest FFDSHOW, if you dont' already have the needed components installed.

As simple as simply opening up the program, and dragging a .flv file into the window. Really efficient usually only taking a matter of seconds to separate the two files, and its free.
