It is one of the few typeface creators available on the MAC as such it is fairly good
Great for designing fonts, has every feature you will ever need. However its UI sucks and its highly unusable (it comes with a very helpful manual though).
Its price is cheap for people that design fonts for a living, but extremely expensive for people that just want to create one font.
It's a typeface creator/editor. It could definitely be a lot better, as all typeface editors could be. But what does it matter, this program is just one of the few that allows you to make fonts. It's not like anyone uses the built-in vector tools, if they were to make Fontforge just a little better and fully multi-platform, FontLab will go bankrupt.
