Publishng tool for professional documentation, expecially for structured manual writing.
Pros: Good performans, managing document format consistently.
Cons: High price, the latest version is not so stable.
poor internationalization, unstable PDF export.
InDesign CS4 acquires a lot of features of FrameMaker, such as conditional text, cross reference, auto reflow, etc. I doubt the future of this software.
for producing book documents. lots of formatting features. much better at maintaining styles and page numbering than Word. not a word processor, but an effective tool.
