It would be good if one could "partially" subscribe other users, just as in Jaiku, where one can choose which of your friend's feed updates to display on your own timeline and which to not, like "I want to be informed of this person's blog updates, but not of what he's listening to on Last.fm", etc.

FriendFeed is the best short stream content delivery system. I can receive and send instant feedback to content creators who can see my face and I theirs. I port my FF updates to Twitter and Facebook. I agree with Kevin that I wish FF was as popular as twitter. It is 100% better than twitter for communication.
Friendfeed is a good place to talk about some aggregated content, it is a full replacement of RSS Readers for me, and i use it as a place to disqus my own projects and take feedback from users. I spend a lot of time on it.
