I never had a Friendster page, but I remember when it seemed like everyone did around 2003. Although Friendster evidently holds the patent for "social networking sites" or some business, the major butthurt it got from Myspace is unfathomable - now I love how everyone for the past year has been switching over to facebook. Internet bandwagonism, lolz.
they're trying hard to be like other social sites...
that's why it sucks now..
but I'm so addicted to it before....
not anymore.
I wrote my last review 5 months ago and my.. how things have changed since! More and more Filipinos are really now moving to Facebook. Bad news for Friendster which has I guess 90% of their users living in the Philippines.
It's been ages since I last logged in to my Friendster account. I predict this time next year, Friendster will close if they don't make some serious improvements.
way way behind facebook
Before Facebook, Friendster was my main social networking site. All my friends are there, and it's pretty much the #1 sns in the Philippines.
However, it's starting to be too Myspace-y, and even TRIED to be a bit Facebook-ish, too. FS can't seem to decide what it is. There are almost always glitches with something, be it messaging, alert errors, downtime, etc.
Still, I can't help not use it. Sentimental value and all.
Used to be decent, now it's like MySpace with all the awful user profile backgrounds and flashy comments and ads. When you let people customize that much on a social networking site, you're asking for hell.
Heh ... Wakoopa says I used it, but I didn't. Haven't. Sounds though like it suxx. Maybe I will go have a peek. See if it is worse than Tagged. :-))

It used to be the easiest to use, for me. But after years, the servers went down, the accounts got hacked, there were many indecent comments, and friends just got lost? Wierd.
the 2nd social site after using Hi5 and I find it better than Hi5. but sometimes (more like always?) the server goes down. but we can still bare with it. haha. I used this site because most of my friends use this and through this site, me and my friends are closer. oh, maybe I'll never like friendster if none of my friends are there. hoho.
it's also easy to customize, i mean, just go find the skin you like on any websites then copy the code and paste it on your profile. easy right? ;P
whoever said that people in this social network doesn't know a damn about english then shut up... you know nothing, we are one of the most fluent english speakers in the world and i bet you many of us can speak english better than you any day...
anyways, i use this social network and i customize it well with my profile... it's good but advertisements are just too crumbled... the friends list is not that enhance and the management of friendster would be one of the laziest i've seen yet! they should really update it...

I have a basic Friendster profile.. It's way to clogged.. Id rather Friendfeed or facebook.
The lowest of the low social networking wise. From what I've seen only idiotic people who can't speak english and go on IRC spamming their friendster use it. In other words: IT SUCKS. I despise social networking as a whole, but please use something else like the dispicable Facebook or MySpace.
