It would be perfect if xvid etc. would be standard. but with the xvid plugin its nice enough

Nice interface but could make a more flexible version that exactly matches the Apple TV but then I guess that would not sell as well. Network shares are a pain to setup which is a shame since all my stuff is on a file server. :(

Version 2.0 has made some major improvements to this app. Support for video_ts is the biggest. The mac mini makes the ultimate htpc now. The interface is also improved I think.

Front row is really cool, but not very useful when you lost your Apple remote like I did...

Front Row is fantastic for people that like to watch their media on a couch or in bed. I use it every night before I go to sleep.

Front Row is pretty cool, but it needs a configuration editor big time. Has absolutely zero options, but it will at least follow symbolic links so I can view DivX, etc.

Front row is very cool, however don't have your Apple tv too close to your Imac or Macbook. Very sensitive and you may find yourself turning on an Itunes song or podcast unexpectedly.
