I've got the freeware version (5.3) - it does all you need for screen capturing.
I don't think there is anything more that I could ask from a screen capture utility to do. Simple in use and full of interesting features. I love it!
Faststone Capture has come along way, it has improved a lot.
It is a very easy to use screen capturing program and I don't know what I would do without it.
What I don't like about FSC is the fact that you must now pay for it, which annoyed me a lot when I heard about it. I had to search around for the earlier 'free' versions.
It still is by far the best screen capturing program, I recommend to all.

Fast and easy way to take screenshots and edit them.
Make sure to look for the "last freeware version" of this guy, which is 5.3. Everything after that is shareware, which just sucks in my opinion. Great program, been using it for a long time
Useful in that it's basically auto-trim for small images and auto-append for large images. Simple to use and customizable.
