Really great little app. Just tried it and works like a charm.
It really helps to speed things up. Your RAM is cleared a lot (i get about 250 MB of extra free RAM, from my 2 GB total), and all unnecessary stuff closed.
It's a great utility to run if you like to play games on your computer. It disables all the stuff you don't need during your game. When you stop playing you just click "Switch to Normal Mode" and the application starts running all those processes again that you normally use.
Disables background process and services, leaving your processors full work for gaming. And you can adjust what to disable and what not to. If you don't want your internet adapter to be shut down, uncheck it.
It really helps speed up games!

nice piece of software to use when you want play games on your computer. It automatically disables processes and services that are not needed while gaming, so your system runs more stable. Definately a winner !
an effective piece of software. If you need to print stuff or report a windows error simply restore to normal mode but other than that, just keep it on gaming mode as all normal, day to day usage can be maintained. It's just been updated to v1.1 too so there is some development going on. Why can't windows switch these unnecessary functions off instead of leaving it to iobit?
