One of the best easy game creation programs I have ever used. Its nice drag and drop interface is easy and understandable to use for anyone. If you learn how to master the program then you can make virtually anything. Not only does it just allow users to make to but also 3D games with the right DLL. And with a community of users to help you with anything your stuck on might just make this the best choice if your novice game designer. I give it a 5 out of 5

Amazingly easy for novices to use due to drag-and-drop, yet powerful enough to create commercially viable games with the built-in language, GML. Stupidly cheap, the only thing that lets it down is the performance of the games. It's extension system and ability to utilise dll's mean the possibilities are endless.

the inbuilt programming language may seem diificuilt at first but once you get used to it it just makes your head spin from possibilities :D LOL

the only problem is performance... at massive scenes it usually gets slow because every object ingame has many features enabled (collision checking, for example), so it is advised to use particles whenever you have to create an object without collisions...

truly.... game-maker masterpieces an amazing world to making games the easy way, if not the fun way!
easy to use drag-n-drop feature makes game-making as interesting as VisualBasic had done it for creaing applications.
a must for anyone wanting to create games but with no previous knowledge, but of-course the in-built GML (Game Maker Lang.) too is powerful enough to create good-enough games.

The best game maker out there you can get for twenty bucks! Tons of features to boot, an easy-to-learn scripting language, and extensions and dlls take the program to no limits.
