Garry's Mod or Gmod is a modification for the Source engine. It is a physics sandbox game that allows the player to manipulate objects and experiment with physics. Good game for messing with stuff, but It already needs L4D engine.

Lots of features, full of bugs and major security issues.
Would not recommend working on anything for this game and definantly not run a server for it.. Lots of secruity issues caused by this game not keeping up with Source.

Very fun, though I still don't get how to do a lot of things (just got it recently). The price is pretty steep considering most mods are free but it seems like a lot of fun.
