nearly perfect
does everything i need, while beeing still cheap on memory and cpu usage.
Only sad thing ist you cant use the ctags-plugin while looking at Files
from ssh:// and the other way (by mounting via sshfs and fuse inside the system
itselve) is somewhat buggy.

I love it!
The plugins make GEdit truly incredible. Make sure you peruse all of them.
A huge tool for whoever needs to develop in whatever language, on linux.
Completely customizable with a huge community working on awesome plugins.
If you're not content with just one terminal (in the gedit-plugins package), check out this plugin for tabbed multiple terminals: http://fazibear.blogspot.com/2008/04/gedit-with-multi-terminal.html
The best editor for my php editing
also very powerful with all it's plugins. I got a terminal, file browser, regexp search and a dozen other nice things.
The only thing I want it to have is a tabbed terminal. I really need two when developing!
The most friendly editor for newbie!
simple and perfect
