Does a good job!
Love it! So customizable... I have it tweaked differently on each machine I run it on.
You make of it whatever you want it to be.. I use it to show my uptime and load averages, to see my external IP in a network and as a very stylish digital desktop clock.. With the ability to change fonts/colors, etcetera it really gives it an edge so you can also make it look really good..
Only downside is that it's totally for geeks (as the name implies) as you need at least a basic understanding of shell commands. Then again, you can find lots of good ideas on the internet..
Yeah, i like it! Never switch back to the windows, just because of geektool and textmate =)
