Geni is a tool for understanding and staying in touch with your family. Geni lets you create a family tree through our fun simple interface. You can expand your tree by adding relatives' email addresses. They will be invited to join your tree and can add other relatives. Your tree will continue to grow as relatives invite other relatives. Each family member has a profile which can be viewed by clicking their name in the tree. This helps family members learn more about each other and stay in touch. Family members can also share photos and work together to build profiles for common ancestors. Geni is private. Only the people in your family tree can log in to your tree and your profile. Nice online genealogy app. You are really encourage to go to the pro version in order to get all the bells and whistles.

We use this for our family and it really helps me to remember birthdays and stuff, great thing.
I've used Geni since day one. It's free which is nice. The idea of being able to merge trees is cool. It's performance is pretty phenomenal for what it's doing. That said, it can be slow for some operations like merging trees.
I've been using it almost from the start. Great program. Now with more dan 14 milion people connected to my tree.
I use it more as a genealogical tool than a social network.
I has avery clean interface and it is very complete. I mean, it's not very precise, but most of the time you don't know more than the name of that person or where it was born.
If you want to do very specific tasks than it might not work so well, but it's a great way of building your genealogical tree.

Very good familly network tool
Who knows, maybe by completing my tree I could be a cousin of Catherine Zeta Jones. The website is perfect, I did not find a better one till now.

One of the greatest free things for setting up a family tree, and then you can keep in touch with all your living relatives on it. The staff is very helpful, and has always quickly responded to any of my questions or issues. Every update they have just makes it better and better. You can see family timelines, and fill them with pictures and videos. I love this site.
