I have used Photoshop and other graphics editors. The reason why I choose to
use GIMP is for the following; 1. It's an easier interface. 2. Powerful, and
finally 3. It's free.
I use it whenever I need to edit images and it works pretty well, there's a
decent number of features and it contains most of the stuff that Photoshop has,
hell I have even made many decent images on GIMP. The problem is when the
interface freezes unexpectedly and you have to force quit it and it will crash
at random if you're using a filter. Other than that, it's a great alternative to
Photoshop.
Free and powerful.
still got a long way to be Photoshop.
Tenho no Windows, no Linux e no pen drive.
Nice editor!
free photoshop?
muy contento con este tool de LINUX :) !
excelente
I am by no means a power user, so the gimp does every thing I need. Free for everybody
Free. Still has most of the bells and whistles of the majors. Good for getting started on doing media creation.

Not that good, but gets the small jobs done. Impossible to compare with Photoshop, but similar functions as Fireworks.
Good enough for me, just get used to the interface and you're ready to get productive :)
Umm… It's free. That's good, right? Because the rest isn't that much.
Love it.
Una muy buena opcion si quieres una herramienta de edicion de imagenes libre.
