The 4th most popular development manager on Mac OS X
GitX is a git GUI specifically for Mac OS X. It currently features a history viewer much like gitk and a commit GUI like git gui. But then in silky smooth OS X style! Edit

Awesome GUI to help you with Git trees and commits.
Best Git GUI!
One of my favorite SCM tools, it allows me to visually browse local git repository histories as though every project I had was hosted on github.
Makes Git so-much-easier.
GitX has a very nice interface, compared to the default interface you get when installing Git. It makes all the details a lot clearer to revise. If you're using git, and the default interface, I recommend you give this a try!
nice tool
Make my simple little git repository that much easier to look after. I basically just use it for committing files, and it does a great job. Better than git gui or whatever I use on the BSD system.
It would be better if I could push from inside it, rather than from the Terminal.
One of the best version control GUI apps I've ever seen.
Very nice tool to keep track of the branching progress in GIT. Can't live without anymore!
much better than gitk
It's a great tool to get a quick overview over changes in the working tree, as well as progress in the different branches of your project. Visualization is really valuable.
The command-line tools built into Git are mostly good enough, but we need more work on tools like GitX, because they simplify and speed up working with Git.
Just looked at http://www.versionsapp.com/ and while the approach is totally different because it's SVN, some inspiration could probably be drawn from there.
One thing I'd like is another view mode for the history view (and maybe also for multiple files in the commit view), that showed expandable diffs with just the pathname of the modified file as an unambiguous caption. So that you don't have to scroll as much and have some more oversight.
You can now also use it to commit changes.
Maybe the developers are going to change it into something like Version for SVN, but then for git.
I like it to take a quick glance at the history of my projects.
Note: Only for tracking braches..
As a replacement for gitk this thing rocks!
Now i can track back those branches way better!
