Gmail has almost single handedly replaced Outlook. This was a HUGE step.

Fantastic email client. Integrates well on my Google phone (HTC Magic).
The best email service ever! Love the themes :D
Good email client, do have some privacy concerns however.
Has better spam filters than Yahoo Mail, but still not quite able to deal effectively with the large volumes of spam I tend to get. And the free custom domain feature is epic. Something Yahoo charges $30/year for iirc. <_<

Word of advice, do keep in mind it's still an online service that may fail - so backup your messages and keep a secondary email address available (:
I love it and use it all the time!
