    Lightweight and a it is front-end option if you don't use Smplayer. Good integration with Mozilla browser.
    Bad for playing DVDs.

    Lighweight and powerful, very similiar to Media Player Classic on Windows. Support alot of codecs, nice rendering, easy subtitle adding.
    But not best choise for playing DVDs.
