wow, this is No.1 on my software list... well I use it to type millions of
other commands, so I think it's quite unfair only to display gnome-terminal, not
ssh, vim, ls, cd, etc.
Easy, fast, does what you need it to do. There are better terminals out
there, but in all honesty if this is all you have you can do all you want. Good
product.
Works good with incredibly long buffers (as in: many megabytes of past output
to scroll through). Transparency support on compiz (eye candy! Also layer
multiple terminal windows at different font sizes, for optimal nerdiness.)
Quite fast.
Bad thing: Opening a new terminal window from an existing one does not
start a new process. Which, in case of a crash, which happens, it's probable all
your terminals die at once.
very simple, very powerful, very useful. Anything else?
use it a lot. basic, but does what it needs to do

Everyday tool
Best terminal app ever, nothing can beat it
Siempre en uso...
Poderosa herramienta.
Gnome terminal, The World in my hands.

Very functional terminal emulator, but i normally prefer Guake (drop down terminal)
the best tool ever.
Works nicely when compiz when set to have a transparent background. Missing a few features but it handles most things very well. Never crashes!
It's one of the most important programs in Gnome. The customization options are cool.

Really customizable (colors, char set, key shortcuts, ...)
Very-very black =)
