Slick UI, plenty of supported file formats and codecs, some advanced features others media players lacked of make Gom Player favorite to me.
Change download link please. I don't think Chineese localisation is good for all.
I've long used Media Player Classic but moved to Gom Player for the robust subtitles support (I'm hearing impaired) and haven't looked back since. Been using Gom Player for a long time, since the day it came out and I'm extremely happy with it. Performance is rock solid no matter how intense the video file is, and I like the clean interface. The best feature, however, is the ability to play just about every video format out there without having to install any codecs or codec packs.

my fave media player. plays ANYTHING, and it comes with built-in codes. lightweight and free.
An excellent media player that is both small in size an has the codecs necessary to play every media format going and if the features don't grab you the price will IT'S FREE.
I could dare everyone in here to find a format that GOM doesn't plaay XD

Good video player for Win. I'm use it :)
Used KMPlayer for a while but it would sometimes freeze for no apparent reason, so returned to GOM. Still doesn't want to handle my .mp4 files though. :(
