Too powerful but I don`t love to use it
Soo cool.
It has a lot more of features than windows 7 search, and it´s faster and (for me) has a much better interface)
I never understood the point. Why waste system resources on something that Window's INDEXING already does.
This is only good if you have XP. Vista and 7 machines do NOT need Google Desktop.

One of the reasons I use Google desktop is that Copernic does not have a version for Linux and it has some more options that Copernic can't do. Another is that I need something that will search Thunderbird.
I have google desktop on my pc and i think its great. Got everything there in 1 bar :)

doesn't wan't to work on window 7 64biit
I like it. But it not search in iptc-data and in fb2-files :(
Really nice for finding e-mails and documents. Don't use other options.
It's a really nice app for desktop
it is no more interesting for me from when i use windows vista Google also restricted many its features in Iran for example you can't download gadgets with Iran ip
