Google Docs may lack some of the advanced features of it's offline cousins
but it makes up for this with performance and portability. The interface is
clean and easy to use, the feature set robust enough that unless you are working
on something unusually complex, you should have everything you need to get the
job done.
The integration with other Google services make this one of the most useful
tools on the web.
While it lacks the more powerful features present in actual office packages
like MS Office (as well as some basic features), it excels in convenience and
collaborative tools. You can publish your document to the web in two clicks,
share them with colleagues, and even edit them collaboratively in real-time. And
best of all, your documents are always available from any web-connected
computer. If it wasn't free, I'd pay for it.
I started using this for everything. The ability to have everything easily
accessible in a simple, online editor is awesome!
It's also great for school projects, so you can share documents - and
comment on each others.
Great for networking documents on the cheap. It also lets you do MS Office
tasks without having to shell out a lot of money for MS Office. If I could
improve anything, though, I would add in the feature set from Excel, as the
spreadsheet you get from GDocs is a bit light. Outside of that, there's nothing
better than never worrying about documents when your HD dies, and the ability to
get your stuff wherever you go.
love the suite, as i do with most google products, not as feature rich as an actual office suite but pretty damn good for an online suite
Great!

Used every day now for business. Online and offline, G-Docs rocks!
I'm using this more and more. I like the idea of having my doc's in 'the cloud' and then just having collaboration and sharing features is awesome.
Really good for having your documents every where, great for school, etc.
