I use it as my cloud resource and as a tool to interact on documents. It is
also well integrated with other tools from Google that I rely on including mail
and Calendar.
I have worked with word processors for many years now and as a developer I
have jumped around a lot. I used it for some development documentation
collaboration and really appreciated it for that key feature. The interface is
a little rough but still manageable. For a text editor replacement I think it
is definitely there. Most end users will never utilize all they key features in
the bloated Microsoft Office Suite. Simple and if you can't afford the steep
prices of Microsoft products and all you need to do is type a report for school,
it works great!
O Google Docs está substituindo aos poucos o pacote OpenOffice que utilizava
em casa. Acho que cada vez mais, novas ferramentas de produtividade online vai
fazer parte do cotidiano dos usuários.
What Microsoft launch is Microsoft Office Online Workspace,I think u mean
that. The mentioned features of it are the individual doc size and batch upload(I
use fireupload to upload to gdocs) and the microsoft office add-in of course.
But anyway, gdocs is my first choice.
Google docs is really cool and handy. I usually save lots of notes as word
documents and later on can't remember under what name I have saved them and
where! But thanks to Google docs, such docs are always at my hand and do not
need to dig my hard drive to find them!

Handy to have, great integration, good sharing features, still nowhere close as a replacement for MS Office.
Very handy for collaborative writing.
My mother likes it. I rarely use it!
Sometimes it's useful. But what about Google and privacy? :)
This is a little to trivial. It's essentially an online rich text editor. Nothing innovative.
i like everything about google docs except that you can only upload one document at a time, and that there are size limits on certain file types.

Awesome for having my Documents ever where, no faffing around with homework sheets.
USeful utility to share docs. Fine for many uses here, and only occasionally I need to use OpenOffice instead.
Has the necessities and is the best for collaboration. Not all the bells and whistles, but the must haves

Isn't Microsoft now working on something like this?
