The simplest google notifier on OSX. Free by google. You can't ask for a better product of it's kind.

This is among the first pieces of software I install in OS X. It's a must-have for obsessive Gmail users. One of it's coolest features is to redirect all mailto: traffic into a new composition window. For that alone, it's worth the install.

Previously used a plugin for firefox, but after this miracle immediately found happiness!

If you use Mac and Gmail, this is a must.

Would be nice if it could support multiple accounts, but other than that, easy, good functioning tool for gmail users..

Great app! I'm truly lost with out it! Super stuff. It's easy to use and perfect when you get new mail.

This is a must have if you use gmail and/or google calendar. In short it puts an icon for your gmail account and your google calendar (you can choose whether you want both or just one of them shown) in your menubar in the right top corner of your screen. This way you always know if you have a mail or an appointment without opening a browser. Clicking the icon takes you directly to that specific mail/appointment without logging in each time.
This little piece of software is not by any means big or impressive in size, but it does exactly what it is supposed to. Nothing more nothing less. One of those things you can't live without once you've gotten used to it.

if it would support more then one account it would be perfect.

No more checking my gmail every 5 mins for new emails. Thanks google!

love gmail and google calendar, perfect companion for Windows/OS X.

I don't know about others here but this tool works fine for me with GMail. Notifies me nicely of new mail, but the only thing I don't like is that it keeps re-reporting old mail.
