Don't know why people are saying it's not especially useful. Once I figured
out what it was and wasn't for, it has changed the way I work forever. I am
using it for personal emailing with my girlfriend, work collaboration for my
business, and as my personal notes and writings warehouse.
The keys to using it were (for me):
-It is not![generally] for live communication in the way chat is.
-If you are using it right each blip should be at least paragraph sized and
the larger the better. Big chunks in each blip will get you to understand why
wave is so cool, such as the ability to reply to just that question at just that
spot without ruining the flow of everything.
-Other things wave is great at is arranging something live between many
people, and revising or correcting an existing block of [rich] text from some
document(do this with 1 or more people)
