For those of us denied Pandorra or under restrictions of Last.fm listening to
the song we like may be quite taxing. However, since I have started using
Grooveshark I have not looked back. Yes it does not have a recommendation
system, however, its easy playlist features, ability to upload songs and the
model to provide incentives to artists when we listen to songs makes it clearly
the most logical and easy way to listen to music. Awesome !
A not very well known player (and let's keep it that way, we don't want it's
butt kicked by the record industry), never crashed and has a nice, clean
interface for an online application. Still needs some features, but you can make
your own playlists and account so that's 4 stars. Value for money is good,
because it's free. You can pretty much find every song that's out there.
Its Ok. A bit confusing interface and it is sometimes hard to get a good
structure of your playlists and stuff. Besides from that, the supply is ok.
Finally I can play some good Red Hot Chili Peppers hits that neither Spotify nor
Deezer has enough of. Best thing is that you easily can embed songs to a Flash
widget and post on your site. You can also post a song to Twitter and Facebook
through Ping.fm.
I use this sometimes instead of Spotify or Last.fm.

Switched from Last.fm radio to Grooveshark.
And I was a BIG fan of Last.fm...
neat webapp
great sound quality
I respect what it's trying to do but I prefer Last FM. Grooveshark is also pretty terrible for the slightly less known genres such as Drone and Noise.
can't find out how to embed playlists on other sites
took me a while to find out how to use it
Poor functionality in playlist management. Overall usability is still okay though.
love it!!
