Guild Wars takes the best elements of today's massively multiplayer online games and combines them with a new mission-based design that eliminates some of the more tedious aspects of those games. You can meet new friends in towns or outposts, form a party, and then go tackle a quest together. Your party always has its own unique copy of the quest map, so camping, kill-stealing, and long lines to complete quests are all things of the past. Within a Guild Wars quest you have unprecedented freedom and power to manipulate the world around you; with the dynamic quest system, your accomplishments have a unique influence on your future.

A good looking, subscription free game. Might worth a look as a first go at online games, but don't be put off by the kiddies in the chat channels.
The game is fun to play.. Although i don't like that the only place where you can meet people is inside the city's.
I really liked Guildwars. As a super casual gamer though who doesn't have very many friends who have the game nor do I have much skill, it is a bit difficult to play alone. Nevertheless, I look forward to GW2 and future GW developments.
zomg Guild Wars 2 trailer tomorrow? Tomorrow at 12? what will happen!?

the only game i play ...been playing over4000hours now in about 3.5years i got all campains and planning on buying guild wars 2 when it comes out :-)
Fantastic online game. Quite a different feel to most other MMOs, Guild Wars is based more upon skill level and build choices than grind. However, the game does not remove the grind element altogether; there are many titles you can grind for, but the only real thing that most of them grant you is personal gratification.
The graphics do look a little dated, but the game is 4 years old, so it is to be expected. The PvP is addictive, and the PvE has enough content to keep you entertained for a very long time. Overall, great game - and no monthly fees!
If only Tabula Rasa was Free like Guild Wars, it would have survived the ages like this game.
Excellent gameplay with friends, excellent stories, Excellent Scenery.
Just an overall AWSOME game out there that is Free to play when you first purchase it.
King of the PvP in the MMORPG's world. Pretty good graphics/gameplay. But like everything it tends to get boring after some time. Yet (like WoW and many other MMORPG) another game bad for social life of some people.
its deff very addicting ! my computer frist got it nothing else installed then installed world of warcraft laged bad bought this no lag at all great game
