upgraded to karmic today and gwibber is rocking better man. it got upgraded
too with added support for friendfeed etc. i had just complained here about
that lack of support yesterday. cool vibes..
For andresmh, schwarzproductions, seeds, kimme:
Try version 1.2! Many new services (with friendfeed), retweets and
favourites, public timeline, fixed ping.fm and other.
bzr branch lp:gwibber/trunk
My favourite microblogging client - simple, fast and easy to read through.
It's not the best in the looks department but I've noticed that it's improving
all the time. Highly recommended if you're running Linux!
Awesome support for many services, and allows you to seamlessly pull together
posts from services such as Twitter and Identi.ca (as well as Facebook, and
other Laconi.ca powered micro-blogging sites)
Great tool to handle my twitter and identi.ca on the same time.
Make sure your refreshment rate isn't to high, or else Twitter is
requested too much, and get's blocked for a while.
Without doubt the best microbloging client for Gnome. Gwibber supports not
only Twitter, but also Identi.ca, Facebook, Ping.fm, Digg, and other popular
services.

My favorite twitter/ident.ca/Facebook/Flickr/Digg/RSS/etc... client in Ubuntu, but still has some annoying bugs like broken Ping.fm support.

Gwibber is really good but it needs to add support for more services like friendfeed.
really simple and quick interface

Gwibber is a best twitter client on Linux
1.2 from Bazaar is awesome :)
Gwibber's a great microblogging client. I really enjoy using it, and I'm glad the Gwibber team supports Laconica and Identi.ca so well.
Gwibber is currently my default desktop twitter app. Destroy Twitter is also nice but this one has tabs & searches.
Very handy program, nice to see the alerts coming up, rather than having to visit all the sites.
Great tool to handle my twitter and identi.ca on the same time.

Too bad there isn't a retweet button.
I stopped using this one because it fails to post to ping.fm. This is a known bug.
Without doubt the best microbloging client for Gnome. Gwibber supports not only Twitter, but also Identi.ca, Facebook, Ping.fm, Digg, and other popular services.
