The first of the episodic expansion packs for Valve's extremely successful first-person shooter series, Half-Life. Episode One continues directly from where it's predecessor left off, and puts it's players back into the HEV suit of Gordon Freeman as he travels alongside Alyx, a companion from the previous game.
Half-Life 2: Episode One is also a display of the new features of the Source engine, such as Alyx's companion AI and the HDR lighting system.

Awesome expansion to an awesome game.
Because it is a Half-Life2 game it is great, immersive story line and great character development. But like a good slice of pizza the whole thing is too short.
