In Halo's twenty-sixth century setting, the player assumes the role of the Master Chief, a cybernetically enhanced "SPARTAN" super-soldier. The player is accompanied by Cortana, an artificial intelligence who occupies the Master Chief's neural interface. Players battle various aliens on foot and in vehicles as they attempt to uncover the secrets of the eponymous Halo, a ring-shaped structure.

awesome game... lots of alien blood
gets old. Custom edition is fun for about a week. Not fun at all if you've played Team Fortress 2

well, as a break from urban terror i played this tonight
hilarious fun was had by myself an clan mates, trying to keep the warthog upright while flyin over blood gulch? what a laugh great fun.. i dono why i havent tried this game untill now.. but i know this.. i wont be leaving it anytime soon!
Comparing to all the actual good games I play, this is an utter fail. I don't know why it has such a high reputation.
The warthogs drive like crap compared to ANY Half-Life vehicle. (That even includes Half-Life 1), comrades always get in the way or don't do enough work.
In short: I hate this game, I've played much better games, and I don't know why this is so popular.
It is old game. But it is nice! looking forward to play multiplayer after completing the cmapign soon!
