Very interesting way to keep all bases covered. Just starting to explore. Had good luck with mulit-Twitter account posting, not so much with Facebook or Blip.tv.
how are home, friends, and colleagues different when you check them? that part I don't understand if I should click the home or friends.

This is a great web-based platfform. Great for twitter users that are tweeting for someone else's computer.
Three major (and maybe unique) features:
- integrated Blip.fm (including search and blipping)
- integrated YouTube (including search and posting)
- integrated Dial2Do (that allows you to post to twitter with your voice, with a simple phone call)
It produces a user page, and has its own timeline agregating all the updates to all your applications.

Most important for me: htxt supports polish microblogging platform blip.pl (with little flaws with pasteing a URL). That's why I'm using it a lot since I started another twitter account.
