Sometimes when you change certain WHS configuration elements - for example, if you change your Windows Home Server name or network information - your Windows Home Server Console Connector may lose its connection to your Windows Home Server. Even a system restart will not help, the Windows Home Server tray icon will be grayed out. It keeps my Computer Synced and in good connection with my Windows Home Server, I can't say anything bad about that.
