Not completely free, but that doesn't mean much when it comes to the services that Windows Home Server (WHS) Can provide. It's a very easy and simple way to provide any computer hooked to a network a means to backup all of it's invaluable data, as well as protect it from a means of failure. (If you have all your data in two places and one burns down, you still have your data, something many should take more seriously on computers.)

Absolutely awesome. So easy and stable. If only Microsoft would market their good products more. I love it

Works great. Seriously, WHS is the best thing that Microsoft is making right now.

Love Windows Home Server - simple and easy. Even better now Power Pack 2 has been released. :)

Windows Home Server is an OS from Microsoft I actually like. Simple Windows backups and I use it as my media (music and video) library with 6TB of disk.

I just recently figured out how to get the export feature of My Lil Movie Jukebox and Movie Collector to work with Windows Home Server on the Popcorn Hour A110 ... Enable guest account on whs with no password . In PCH setup, network shares browse and now shares will show whs folders. Whs saved my butt a couple of weeks ago when the PC in the back bedroom crashed ... yes whs restore does work!

Windows Home Server -- I can't say enough good things about it. It makes your home a digital home. I would never go back to running my own server again now that WHS is on the market.
