A racing game on Windows

Hover! is a video game that was included on the Microsoft Windows 95 operating system CD. It was a showcase for the advanced multimedia capabilities available on personal computers at the time. It is still available from Microsoft (see the “External Links” section below) and can be run on all of Microsoft's operating systems released since Windows 95, including Windows Vista.

only problem: on windows xp using a 32-bit color driver, Hover! reports that you are using a color depth lower than 256 colors.

I loved to play this as a kid. So much fun. I'm going to download it again (still available - Microsoft also loves it I think ;)).

It remember me the days when only the rich people had Internet and the poor people enjoyed browsing lost files and programs in the CDs.

Try in the main menu holding Ctrl and typing IBMAB. The controls will unlocked and you can explore that level.

This reminds me of an old school Mac game called Spectre. That game was awesome.

Brilliant game, despite its age. I can remember playing this when I was 10 in my primary school. Good hours well spent on this game.

    Need I say no more.

I remember back in the day, in 1995 this game was totally the shit. It came FREE with windows, and it was just totally awesome. It was a totally awesome way to kill an afternoon.

Out of curiosity I tracked it down on the internet, and played it again. Now it's really more of a totally nostalgic way to kill 10 minutes. Still though, 13 years ago this game was completely awesome.
