HP printer component. Need it because I have a networked printer.
I'm not using this stuff, cause I prefer default windows tool.
I have had really bad luck with the HP printer software. I have a networked HP 6310 and occasionally the printer just gets removed from the computers at random. It is not easy to re-register the printer with the HP software either. If you just install the printer using windows printer install wizard then it doesn't register the printer with the hp software and thus doesn't allow scanning to pc, faxing from pc, etc. Also, the scanner SOFTWARE doesn't support scanning multiple page documents very well, I generally have to use other software to do that. Also, there are SEVERAL background applications that run, instead of just one.

I don't like the HP director version that is installed here... the newer it's better
HP Printer utility. Resource eater. PC becomes rather slow. I recommend to disable this utility (removal from Start-up).
It is a bit of a RAM and resource hog but it comes with my printer, what can i say?
Resource hog that needed 5 patches before it stopped freezing.

Depois de trocar a impressora por uma HP, usá-la ficou muito mais fácil com esse programinha.
Complained to HP about this trash of a program. After a period of time, this program either uninstalls itself, or feels like it needs to be re-installed. Go figure.
