The 72nd most popular system tool on Windows

HP total care advisor is a set of tools that comes with newer HP computers. Although using a lot of RAM, this program is great for BIOS updates and computer stats. Including a full set of tools and running the occasionel test to make sure it all works right, HP Total Care Advisor is a keeper, but only boot it when you need it!

It is indeed a resource hog, but comes in very useful sometimes. I was almost ready to do a system restore this morning, but found a fix in advisor thankfully.

    Overall:

Resource hog, using hundreds of megabytes of RAM and virtual memory, and almost the entire CPU. Delete its startup entry.

Useful stuff though, so open it manually when needed. And then be sure to exit it from its notification area icon, or better yet, kill it via Task Manager.
