Wow, this is nice and simple.
If you aren't afraid of the terminal, you can as well use
$ sips -s format png /Applications/Previw.app/Contents/Resources/preview.icns --out preview.png

You can customise the output size, format, background colour, name and location easily in it's settings. The interface however could be improved quite a bit, to be more "mac like".

Great app! Does one simple thing just right: extracting an icon. Very usefull for Wakoopa also, to submit icons quickly :)
